JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Quality Auditor
Job Summary: Coordinate, Organize, and daily tasks. Ensure proper execution of all policies and procedures
Organizational Specific Title: Auditor, Quality
Department: Quality
Supervisor Title: Quality Supervisor

Responsibilities/ Authority:

  • Conduct inspections as needed. (i.e. RFI (Request for Inspection), Dock Audits, Supplier checks, Customer checks, etc.)
  • Audit labeling and parts on shipping dock for daily shipments, ensuring accuracy to customer requirements
  • Review/research appropriate quality issues as needed or required (i.e. part identification, condition of material, quantity verification, etc.)
  • Initiate quality tickets, corrective actions, 8D’s, or PRR’s internally or externally as needed with direction from the Quality Manager
  • Attend meetings related to quality issues
  • Process all returns per internal or external customers requirements
  • Assist with the process of returning material to suppliers or customer
  • Communicate and coordinate with other QC personnel outside of Feblo as appropriate
  • Assist the process of material to be scrapped per customers requirements
  • Schedule rework material to be released to production
  • Perform any other job requirement as directed by the Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager

Skills/ Training/ Education/ Experience Required:

  • Basic knowledge overall program requirements, people skills, Forklift license, Basic blueprint reading
  • Basic computer skills (E-mail, data input), Reading/Writing/Basic Math skills
  • On-the-job-training with 3-month probation period

Performance Measurable:

  • Meet and support Customer and Quality Manager requirements to their satisfaction
  • Internal QC errors and actions taken
